Products / Art/Accessories / Fringe Plateau
The Fringe collection originated from a visual fascination with cutting clay with a wire.
This act grew into a stand-alone exercise, an expanding technique in which
we investigated the functional and sculptural possibilities.
The texture, the imperfection, the tension between chance and craftsmanship, which started as a playful one
experiment, grew into an evolving collection. Fringe is a tableware collection with a tangible
appearance that stimulates the senses and enhances the culinary experience. The appearance is rough but
refined in finish.
The plateaus are made by hand in our studio in Arnhem and consist of red-baked pottery.
