Flax mesh is used between two clay plaster layers to provide reinforcement. We recommend flax mesh instead of plastic and glass alternatives because it’s a healthy, biobased, CO2 negative material that can both be reused & would be zero waste at disposal. Weight of 70gr/m2 and mesh size of 6x6mm.
Available in rolls of 35m2 and 100m2.

The reinforcement fabric is laid directly onto the wet layer of plaster and carefully worked in with a felted or wooden float. The fabric must lie flat and taut and be free of creases. Individual strips of reinforcement fabric should be overlapped by at least 10 cm when applied to the whole surface.
Can be stored +- 3 years in a dry environment.
